Wireless Access at Regent College

Wireless Internet access is provided jointly by the Regent College Student Association (RCSA), the Regent-Carey Library, and the I.T. Department. The wireless network is publicly-accessible; authentication is not required. Following is some basic information about the network:

Use the following instructions, based on your operating system, as a guide to setup your wireless connection:

Printing

The RCSA has 2 printers available for student use behind the library circulation desk:

  1. HP Laserjet 1300N (IP address 10.30.0.251; Click here for the driver)
  2. HP Laserjet 2420DN (IP address 10.30.0.252; Click here for the driver)

Print to these printers from the RCSA Computer Lab, the library terminals, and your wireless computer. Direct printing is also available via USB.

Payment is by honour system at 10 cents per page; please put the money into the small marked box beside the printer. Change will be provided at the circulation desk if needed.

Wireless Access at UBC, Carey Theological College and St. Mark's College

In order to access the UBC wireless network, which is independent of the Regent wireless network, Regent students need a UBC Campus-Wide Login (CWL) account. CWL accounts are available to Regent students who have paid student fees in Fall or Winter semesters. To register, fill out a UBC Campus Wide Login (CWL) Sign-up form at Regent College reception.
