Introduction

“Faculty vs. Students” volleyball game
At the beginning of every academic year, the Regent College students, staff, faculty, and their families come together for a weekend retreat where we enjoy worship, connection, laughter, and fellowship. This year is no exception. Once again, we will kick off the school year by gathering for a weekend at Warm Beach Camp (www.warmbeach.com) in Stanwood, Washington.
Throughout the weekend, we will enjoy teaching and worship sessions (Children's Progamming will be available), as well as informal times of community building around meals, sports, craft activities, a coffeehouse with live music, the Saturday evening Variety Show, and more. Additionally, Warm Beach offers activities such as horseback riding, canoeing, and mini-golf at a modest cost. Also, a special hiking excursion may be led on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday night Ceilidh Dance
We are excited that once again Warm Beach is offering an improved menu with healthier food options and a variety of accommodations for special dietary needs. Also, the bus transportation that we have used in the past will be available again, providing an opportunity to connect with other students on the way to the retreat. Let's continue to be environmentally conscious and use this resource by taking the bus! (See General Information for more details.)
The Fall Retreat provides us a wonderful chance to draw together around Christ at the beginning of the school year — our hope is that students, staff, and faculty will make every effort to be present from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
