Christianity and Capitalism Site Launch!
The Capitalism Project is an initiative run by the Marketplace Institute. This initiative first took root in light of theological reflection on the engagement of Christianity with Capitalism. This has taken the form of courses, lectures and discussions at Regent College. This website is an attempt to continue the dialogue by bringing new voices to bear on the current conversation regarding a Christian response to Capitalism. The site contains a blog with regular posts by Christian economists and other Christian thinkers reflecting on the theory, praxis, and implications of Capitalism. Furthermore, the site contains book reviews of recent or historical works in the area of economics and can be found on the blog page by selecting the “Book Reviews” category. We have also included a list of relevant articles and lectures that can serve to increase understanding on what a Christian response might look like in today’s society.
